Another day another Gymshark activewear review. The Gymshark Flawless Knit set is another timeless piece from the popular brand and one that I’d had my eyes on for a while.

Sometime in May, Gymshark hosted a HUGE sale with up to 70% off their sports bras and legging collections, and I snagged the Flawless Knit like my life depended on it!

The Flawless Knit collection was newly released at the time, and I got 35% off this set (from $100 to $65). Since then, I’ve picked up a few more Gymshark leggings and I created a thorough round up post.

There are many things I love about this set which has now become one of my favorite go-to gym legging-sports bra combo. So if you’re trying to figure out which Gymshark legging is right for you, here’s my Gymshark Flawless Knit review to help you decide.

Gymshark Flawless Knit Tights Review

The Gymshark Flawless Knit tights are high waisted full-length leggings designed for low to high impact workouts. 

The open mesh detail on the side legs and the brushed contouring give you a silhouette beyond your imagination. The only issue is that your underwear will be visible through some of the holes. You’ll want nude-colored underwear or black underwear if you get these leggings in black.

Also, the thin legging fabric means that these leggings show every bump and fold. Opt for seamless underwear or try going commando to avoid panty lines. 

Also, the wide and ribbed compressive waistband helps prevent the leggings from slipping down your waist during your workout.

You’ll be happy to know that there’s no need to tug and pull on these Flawless Knit tights; the smooth seamless feel ensures a distraction-free workout without uncomfortable seams digging into your skin.

With only 5% of elastane, the Gymshark Flawless Knit tights won’t give you much room to stretch. This low spandex content might be a drawback if you prefer a more flexible fit.

Gymshark Flawless Knit Sports Bra Review

The Gymshark Flawless Knit sports bra is a low impact bra with open back detail for improved ventilation. With eyelet patterns and open detail, this sports bra is sure to keep you cool through out your sweat sesh.

The bra padding and ribbed band design keep your girls in place during low to medium impact workouts.

Gymshark Flawless Knit Sizing Review

I purchased this Gymshark Flawless Knit set from the Gymshark website in size small. Both the sports bra and leggings fit true to size. I’m a 26″ waist, 38″ hip, and 32″ DD bust for reference. See the Gymshark legging size chart below.

If you’re in between legging sizes, go with a size that’s within 2 inches of your true waist and hip size.

What I loved

1. Fit

   The Flawless Knit leggings fit like a glove, plus the contouring is super flattering.

2. Breathability

   If you’re not about that sweat life, then you’ll love the breathability of the Flawless Knit set. The open mesh detail makes it possible to survive an intense sweaty workout without wanting to rip your tights off!

What I’d Improve

1. Bra Support

If you plan to go on a run or do an intense HIIT session, the Flawless Knit sports bra may not be the best option.

Although the padding and racerback style provide a decent level of support, it’s nothing compared to the support you’d get with adjustable straps and a firmer under-bust band.

How To Care For Your Gymshark Clothing

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, please follow the manufacturer’s instructions for fabric care if you want your Gymshark Flawless Knit set to survive a few more years! Avoid excess heat from tumble-drying on high heat or ironing.

Ypu can tumble-dry your Flawless knit set in a low setting, but feel free to put your clothing rack to good use if you have one. Air out your Gymshark set before your next laundry day to prevent the odor-causing bacteria from wreaking havoc on your activewear fabric. See all the ways you can damage your activewear!
